Amaryllis are gorgeous winter flowers that can be forced indoors and enjoyed at a time when other local flowers are scarce. Depending on conditions, amaryllis can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to force into bloom. 

These bulbs are jumbo amaryllis, measuring either 32/34cm or 34/36cm (circumference).  With amaryllis, the bigger the bulb, the grander the display of flowers.  These bulbs typically produce 2-3 stems (each with 3-4 blooms) over the course of several weeks. 

This year's amaryllis bulbs come in many color options:

SINGLES

(classic, one layer of petals):

Bolero-- deep pink

Cape Horn-- deep pink, white centers

Cherry Blossom-- white, brushed with pink

Mandela-- deep, maroon-red

Lemon Star-- lemon yellow/lime green

Picasso-- white, edged in red

DOUBLES

(two or more layers of petals):

Blossom Peacock-- white, pinkish-red edges

Double King--  Christmas red

Tika Lotus-- rich red, several layers

Tika Fairy-- soft pink/white variegated

Tika Coral-- peachy-coral, fades to cream at the tips

Order the bulb alone (packaged in a burlap bag with growing instructions) or potted up (planted in a pot, packaged in a box with growing instructions).
