Now Shipping: TULIPS!
Each bouquet contains 10 stems of homegrown tulips, grown right in our backyard in Norwalk, WI. All bouquets are wrapped in paper, tied with twine, and include flower food and vase life instructions.
Tulips are known for their great variations, from single (classic) varieties, to doubles (which resemble peonies), to parrots (with ruffled petals), to fringed types. This season we are growing them all, in every color you can imagine. Check out the photos to see some of the varieties which we are growing this year!
Feel free to request a specific color or type, but please understand that we are limited to what is currently blooming and specific varieties and colors cannot be guaranteed. What is guaranteed is high quality, fresh flowers, certain to lift your mood!
If you choose to subscribe to this monthly box of flowers, shipped to your door, please note that the type of flower will vary as the season progresses, depending on what is in season. Below is an idea of which flowers you can expect to receive throughout the year.
January = dried florals
February - May = tulips
June = peonies
July = lilies
August = lisianthus
September = calla lilies
October = chrysanthemums
November - December = dried florals
Not all flowers are suitable for shipping-- we only ship those types of flowers which we know can successfully make the trip!
Farm Fresh Tulip Bouquet-- OVERNIGHT SHIPPED
Schell Farm Gardens ships all of our fresh cut flowers overnight via FedEx. We currently ship to regional destinations in the Midwest-- throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and northern Illinois. To ensure quality, we only ship specific varieties of flowers, those which can handle some time out of water. Most of our flowers ship with a hydrating wrap around the ends of the stems, but not in standing water. A few varieties do better when shipped dry. Flowers may appear dehydrated upon reciept, but when rehydrated properly, will perk up within a few hours.
Upon shipping, you will receive a tracking number for your order. You will also receive an email notification once your package has been delivered. Exact delivery times will depend on the service available to your address.
We ship Mondays and Thursdays, which means deliveries are typically available on Tuesdays and Fridays (delivery by 8pm). If you would like to request a shipment on a different day of the week, please reach out to see if it's possible!
